The Portrait Project that I’ve been working on for the last couple of years is amazing. I have had lots of great people give me their spare time to help with this epic quest. They come from all walks of life and backgrounds and we have all become good friends during our sessions together. So what’s it all about? Well a couple of years ago I realized that I was going to be slowing down a bit and would have time enough to work on some projects that I have wanted to do for a long time. One of those projects was the Portrait Project. The idea was to create a number of very specialized portraits that would eventually be printed on large gicleé canvases that will travel across the country in a show and many will be included in a book I want to publish at the same time and will be available at these shows. Some of them will be included as stock images to be sold all over the world commercially as well. My retirement program includes contributing to stock agencies so that residual income will keep coming in for as long as I’m alive |

and beyond. The images are created over several hours of shooting at my studio in Coaldale and sometimes over a couple or few sessions. We have a lot of fun and do a lot of laughing during the sessions and I’ve never had anyone unhappy as far as I can tell from the feedback. I anticipate that the project will wind down around the summer of 2014 and the printing will be done after that followed by the book. Are you interested in becoming part of this project?
